Photographs

It is important that you read these Q&A carefully so there is no miscommunication.

Q: When will my Plebe's evolution at High Ropes be photographed?

A: Any day from about July 5 to August 12. Here is the reason. Each platoon "cycles" through the High Ropes Course, but only one platoon a day. There are 36 platoons, so it takes 36 days to "cycle" through all platoons. If you see that one platoon has been photographed at High Ropes, that does not mean yours has been or even will be in the next few days--or even weeks. The SCHEDULE determines everything.

Q: Will every company/platoon be photographed at every evolution?

A: NO. Impossible to do.

Q: Will every company/platoon be photorgaphed at certain specifc evolutions?

A: NO. It all depends on the schedule, weather condtions (we do not photograph in the rain), and Naval Academy restrictions.

Q: Do you photograph every Plebe when you are at a specific evolution?

A: We try to, but can not guarantee it. In general, we do not photographs those who do not participate in the event.

Q: Is every evolution photographed?

A: NO. The Naval Academy resticts the evolutions we can photograph. Other events are not appropriate or worth photographing, such as an eye exam, dentist, uniform measurement.

Q: Do you phtograph only Plebes when they are "in action"?

A: NO. We photographs Plebes even is not in an "in action" moment. We are there to record the event and also to provide "proof of life."

Q; Can you photograph my Plebe's company/platoon more?

A: Naval Academy forbids us to do this. We phtographs each company/platoon roughly 10-12 times during the summer.
