| What are the DVDs? |
These DVDs customized to your son/daughter's company/platoon so that you actually see your son/daughter -- and what he/she has been doing. For anyone who has not seen Plebe Summer (which is almost everyone), they provide a great insight into the summer -- as well as a better understanding of what your plebe has gone through. |

| Q: How long is this DVD? |
A: About 45 minutes. |
| Q: What is on the Induction Day DVD? |
A: Processing in Alumni Hall, the Waiting Line of Plebes, Processing behind Bancroft Hall, Oath of Office, Stribling Walk Reunion, interviews with Plebes-- plus more. |
| Q: Does the DVD include interviews? |
A: Yes, it does. |
| Q: Will I see my son/daughter on this DVD? |
A: You should see your son/daughter several times -- but we can make no promise. |
| Q: Are the DVDs the same as the photographs you take? |
A: No, the DVDs and photographs are entirely different. |
| Q: Can I include a personal swearingin ceremony on the DVD? |
A: Yes, you can but you will need to contact us prior to Induction Day -- and we must have an email from you to give to the Public Affairs Office. |
| Q: I will not be able to see what goes on inside Alumni Hall. Will this be on the DVD? |
Q: Yes, it will -- a fascinating and integral part of the Induction Day process. |
| Q: How do you organize the DVD? |
A: Basically there are three sections: Processing in Alumni Hall, Processing behind Bancroft -- and the Oath of Office. |

| Q: How long is this DVD? |
A: Typically about 90 minutes -- but that may vary depending on the summer events. |
| Q: What will be included on the DVD? |
A: The following events are some of the evolutions we film: Confidence Course, Squad Endurance Run, Rifle and Pistol, Obstacle Course, Damage Control 1 and 2, Noon Meal Formation, PEP, Basic Sailing Training, Close Order Drill, Platoon Drill Competition, Practice Parade, Formal Dress Parade, Battle Colors, Smokers, etc. Actual events may change depending on the summer schedule. |
| Q: Will I see my son/daughter on the DVD? |
Q: YES , you should many times. |
DVD # 3: Special Events |
| Q: What evolutions will be on this DVD? |
Q: Soccer Championship, Boxing Smoker, All Comers Track Meet, Inspection, Change of Sets, Bowie Baysox Game, Practice Parade, Formal Dress Parade, Platoon Drill Competition |
| Q: Will I see my Plebe on this DVD? |
Q: We film the above events so that every company/platoon is included on the DVD. We also film in such a manner that we include hopefully all the Plebes several times. |

| Q: How long is this DVD? |
A: About 45 minutes. |
| Q: How many times will my son/daughter be on the DVD? |
Q: Many times, as this DVD is footage only of your son/daughter's company and/or platoon. |
| Q: Will the DVD include only events of my son/daughter's platoon? |
Q; It will include footage of both platoons of your son/daughter's company. |

| Q: How long is the interview? |
A: About two minutes, depending on the plebe. |
| Q: What questions do you ask? |
A: We actually don't ask questions. We have several Talking Points, which are: Plebe Summer in retrospect, Reform, Ac Year to date, Sea Trials -- and then a thank you for all your love and support. |
| Q: Can my son/daughter's roommate be included on the interview? |
A: YES, just have him/her come to the Gazebo with your son/daughter. |
| Q: Can my son/daughter conduct the interview at the same time the PLEBE PORTRAIT is taken? |
A: YES, but you will need to contact Eleanor about the available days and time. |
| Q: What uniform should my son/daughter wear? |
A: Service Dress, unless he/she is going to have a PLEBE PORTRAIT done at the same time. Then we would suggest Full Dress Blues. |
| Q: What should he/she do if at the last minute he/she can't make it? |

| Q: If the interview is scheduled at 1400 hrs and he can't be there until 1415 hrs, what should he/she do? |
A: Just show up at 1415 hrs. |
| Q: When do you conduct the interview? |
A: On Sundays at 1300 hrs at the Gazebo in front of the Main Chapel. |

| Q: Do you enhance the DVDs with music? |
A: Yes, we do. |
| Q: Do you include interviews on the DVDs? |
A: YES, we usually interview several of the plebes who reflect and explain the evolution you are watching. |
| Q: How long have you been producing these DVDs? |
A: Since 1980. |
| Q: Are the DVDs endorsed by the Naval Academy? |
A: They are endorsed indirectly by the Academy through the Alumni Association. Our contact at the Alumni Association is Anne Sharpe. |
| Q: Which DVD should I purchase for my son/daughter? |
A: The plebes generally like DVD#3: PLATOON DVD the best. Since they have been through the experience of the summer, they are more interested in seeing themselves and squad mates and platoon mates. Parents in general are more interested in DVD #2: Plebe Summer as it shows more of the summer. |
| Q: Which DVD is the best one to purchase? |
A: See the above answer. |
| Q: Can I purchase the DVDs on installment? |
A: Yes, you can. |
| Q: How do you know my son/daughter will be on the DVD? |
A: We are never 100% sure, but we film each company/platoon several times during the summer -- and then when we film we methodicaly include each and every plebe. |
| Q: Do I need to order early so you film my son/daughter more? |
A: NO, you do not. |
| Q: If my son/daughter is injured will he/she be on the DVD? |
A: He/she will probably not be when he/she does not participate in the actual event. Injured plebes usually stand on the side and watch. Believe me, they would much rather participate. |
| Q: Will I be able to play this DVD on my BLU-RAY? |
A: YES. In fact, it will play better than if played on a regular DVD player. BLUE RAY manipulates the image a bit to improve the quality. However, our DVD is not a BLU RAY. |
| Q: Do you make a BLU -RAY version of the DVD? |
A: NO. |
| Q: How long have you been producing these DVDs? |
A: Since 1980. |
| Q: Does the Academy give you special access? |
A: YES, they do. |
| Q: Do you have a different videographer to film each Company? |
A: We do have several videographers that go to the Academy every day -- but we do not assign one videographer to each company. |
| Q: Are the DVDs guaranteed? |
A: YES, they are. |
| Q: What kind of equipment do you use? |
A: Mostly Canon XL cameras. |
| Q: What is the packaging of the DVDs? |
A: The DVDs are packaged in a DVD box with a cover sheet. |
