1969, for 41 years, THORNTON
STUDIOS has been serving the Naval Academy community
with quality videography and fine portraiture. During the
last 29 Years THORNTON STUDIOS has specialized in producing DVDs about the Naval
Academy. These tapes havd included: Plebe Summer, Herndon Monument Climb, the Plebe Year Yearbook,
Sea Trials and Commissioning Week. |

OWNER Larry Thornton, an Annapolis resident, has family ties to the Naval Academy. His father attended the Academy in the late 1930's. Mr. Thornton himself is the past President and Chairman of the Board of the Maryland Professional Photographers' Association. He has earned many state, regional, national awards for his portraiture and videography. |
