Question
Answer
Q: What is a scrapbook print?

A: It is a finished archival print (4 x 6 in size) that is less expensive that ordering a single print. You save money on prints and postage because you are ordering nine prints (from different files) at the same time.

Question
Answer
Q: Will the quality of the scrapbook prints be better than the single print I could order -- or the prints in the Coffee Table book? A: There is no difference between a single archival print you order and the nine prints you order as scrapbooks prints. However, there is a difference betweeen the prints in a Coffee Table books and an archival print. The Coffee Table Books are printed with four color offset printing. It is not photo paper as it is printed on both sides. Click here to view Coffee Table book.
Q: Do all of the prints need to be different? A: Yes.
Q: How many prints can I order? A: We can print only nine 4 x 6 prints on each 13 x 19 piece of photographic paper. Click here to view sample
Q: Can I order more sets of 9 Scrapbook prints at a later time? A: Yes, you can, but you will not receive the discount that you could get if you order 18 or 27 prints at the same time. Discounts are offered only at the time of ordering.
Q: What are the price of the nine prints?

A single 3 1/2 x 5 print is $23.00. A single 5x7 print is $30.00. The scrapbook prints are 4 x6 size prints. They are halfway between a 3 1/2 x 5 and a 5x7 --about $27.00 each. Based on this $27.00 number, you can see below your savings.

Q: Can I order one set of prints now and a second set later and receive a reduced price? A: Sorry, discounts apply only at time of ordering.
Q: Once I order, can I change the photo numbers? A: This is not possible.
Q: Is is cheaper to buy the photo file or the print? A: That depends. A print is cheaper if you only want one copy of the image. Question
Answer
Q: Will the prints be edited? A: Yes they will be.
Q: Will the prints be cropped? A: Yes, they will be -- but we will not crop out any plebes because the very one we cut out will be your son/daughter.
Q: What is cropping of a photograph? A: Click here for samples.
Q: Do you edit the scrapbook prints more than the other prints you make? A: These prints will be edited. However, not as much editing as the first class PLEBE PORTRAIT prints. Click here to find out about the first class PLEBE PORTRAIT.
Q: Can you change the size of the prints from 4 x 6 to 3 1/2 x 5? A: Sorry, not possible,
Q: Do the prints come with a white border? A: No they do not. See sample 13 x 19 Scrapbook set of nine prints.

Q: Will my son/daughter be cropped out of the print if he/she is on the edge of the print?

A: No.
Q: What file size do you use to make the scrapbook prints? A: We use a 4 x 6 file size at 200 DPI. In pixels, that is 1,800 x 15,600 pixels -- or 2.7 million pixels.
Q: What is a pixel? A: A pixel is a dot with each of the three primary colors--red, blue, and green. If you know the French impressionist painter Seurat, it might help you understand what a pixel is. Seurat painted not by moving his brush over the canvas but by making little dots of color with his brush-- thousands of them. When close to the painting, you see the dots. When far away, you do not. Instead, you see the scene he painted it. His colored dots are the pixels.

Q: Are the prints guaranteed? A: Yes. If they are damaged in shipping, just return them and we will reprint them.

Q: When will I receive the prints? A: About 2-3 weeks after ordering, unless we are backlogged with orders, which usually happens about the end of August thru the middle of September.
