Q: What is a "GOUGE"? A: It is a 5 1/2 x 8 inch booklet that includes your son/daughter's plebe summer schedule, customized to your son/daughter's company. It includes 10 photographs of your son/daughter. Additional contents:: Evolution Descriptions, Bios of Superintendent and Commandant, Company and Platoon profile, Daily Plebe Summer Schedule. Front Cover, Back Cover, My Squad, Slang, Typical Day.

Q: How many pages? A: 16
Q: What is the quality of the GOUGE? Q: We print the GOUGE on a LASER hi quality 28 lb 118 bright paper.
Q: How is the GOUGE bound? A: It is stapled at the fold.

Q: When should I order the GOUGE?
A: We would suggest as soon as the summer is over, when all photos have been posted. Last date for ordering is Sept 15.
Q: May I order extra copies? A: When you first order the GOUGE, you can order additional copies at the same. Otherwise, to order go go to MEMBERS HOME page. Select the PRODUCT tab -- and click on GOUGE.
Q: How do I order the GOUGE? A: Go to MEMBERS HOME PAGE. Select the PRODUCT tab -- and click on GOUGE.
Q: Can I decide the wording for the front page? A: We will put your son/daughter's name on the cover. 
Q: What is the cost of the GOUGE? A: It is FREE if you order the set of 3 DVDs. Otherwise, the cost is $24. Additional copies may be purchased (at the time you order the first Gouge) for $14.
Q: Does it matter if the images are horizontal or vertical? A: YES, it does. Most of the photographs should be vertical --as they probably will be. We will place them in the GOUGE the best way possible - but there may be some blank white space.

Q: Do you edit the photographs in the GOUGE? A: YES, but basic editing only. CLICK HERE for explanation of editing.
Q: Can I select the photograph that will be placed on the front of the GOUGE? A: NO
Q: Can you crop the images for me? A: Sorry, not possible.
Q: Will the photographs be archival quality? A: SORRY, the paper we use is not photographic paper, and certainly not archival.

Q: When will I receive the GOUGE? A: We will mail it with your DVDs. If you have not ordered the DVDs, we will mail them when they are ready --usually December.
